On Saturday 25 March 2023, the Training Band members put on their uniforms and entertained an audience with all the music they have been practicing during the past few weeks.
For many of the players it was their first concert, and they all played the very best they could. The concert started with ‘March Of The Tridents’ and continued with many of the players bravely standing up and playing solos.
Coffee, tea and cakes were served during the interval by Friends of Phoenix, which was followed by more music.
Everyone looked smart and a good time was had by all.
Congratulations to all the Training Band, the soloists who bravely took part and musicians from Main Band who patiently work tirelessly every Saturday morning to teach and encourage the players.
