The English Civil War Society recently re-enacted the Civil War of 1642 between the Parliamentarians Army and the King’s Army in Marlborough. Mayors and dignitaries from across Wiltshire attended the Marlborough Annual Civic Service at St Mary’s Church to celebrate this event at which the Town Councillors gave a pledge to faithfully fulfil their duties to the best of their judgement and ability.
Caroline Peck was invited to attend the official function in her capacity as Band Chairman.
Caroline is pictured with Councillor Mervyn Hall, Mayor of Marlborough, and her mother. She is also accompanied by a member of the English Civil War Society.
