Phoenix Brass Band provided a mixed repertoire of music to suit all tastes as they performed a fun filled afternoon of music under the baton of their conductor David Watson set in the picturesque village of Froxfield recently.
A hot sunny afternoon greeted a large audience as the musicians returned for the annual Hungerford Summer Festival in the grounds of Froxfield War Memorial Hall to perform a musical programme that had been specially pieced together by David Watson. TheĀ programme included a solo performance by Liane Squibb and Helen Parkin playing “Deep Inside the Sacred Temple” on euphoniums.
The audience enjoyed light refreshments during which the Band Grand Summer Draw was made.
