Thursday 18th October saw the Friends of Phoenix AGM.  The retiring committee and all the band’s ‘Friends’ were thanked by MD David Watson for all their hard work and support in fund raising for the band

The new Friends committee elected is:-

Chairperson:   Doreen Palmer

Secretary: Denise Dolton

Treasurer: Richard Fradgley

Members; (alphabetically) Jan Appleton, Lesley Crawford,            Doreen and Martin Hall, Mandy Marchant, Bev Silk, Carol Silk and Betty Walley.

Since the AGM we regret to announce that Denise Dolton has, for personal reasons, stood down as Secretary. Denise has worked many years for the band including producing and cooking the Band Annual Dinner. She will be sorely missed.

The Secretary’s duties are currently being carried out by Jan Appleton.
